Adopting an Animal
Our adoption program cares for abandoned animals and helps them find loving forever homes. Each of the animals in our adoption program comes fully vetted, spayed or neutered and ready to start their new lives.

Fostering an Animal
Fostering is extremely important! Our foster homes help give one on one care to animals while they are getting ready for adoption. All of the costs associated with the animal are covered by the sanctuary. Contact us to apply!

Can I surrender an animal?
We do take in owner surrenders. There is a fee associated with surrendering an animal. Please fill out our cat surrender form for cat surrenders and contact us for all other types of animals.
I found a stray cat, Will you take it?
Carroll Animal Sanctuary and Rescue does take in stray FRIENDLY Cats only! At this time we do not work with feral animals.
If you have found a stray cat, you are able to touch it, and it appears to want an indoor life please complete the Cat Surrender Application to the left.
What does the adoption process entail?
The application process is three steps (1) filling out and approval of the application, (2) Reference check of 3 people who have seen your interacting with animals (3) Meet and greet with Carroll Organics Farm and Sanctuary staff to ensure the animal is the right fit for your family (4) Signing the adoption contract.
How Much Does Adopting Cost?
The adoption fee for all of our animals is $175 or $300 for a pair and $95 for a senior or FIV+ cat.
Adoption fees help cover the cost of vetting, food and medication for the animal while in our care.
Please note: we do not adopt out cats that are not fixed and vaccinated
Can I foster an animal?
Fostering an animal helps us take in more animals in need. When you foster all of the animals costs are covered by the sanctuary.

Will I need Additional Veterinarian Services?
While, each animal will be spayed/neutered, given first round of vaccines, prior to adoption, you will still need your own veterinarian. You will be responsible for all vet care after the adoption contract is signed.
