When Max was only 14 weeks old, he was found with a broken leg and was surrendered to our Cat Rescue. The break in his leg was so bad that he had to be hospitalized immediately while his pain was managed with very strong medication. While he was in the hospital it was determined that the break was too severe to be reset and his front leg was amputated the next day.
Post surgery, Max stayed in a very caring foster home for three weeks while he recovered. His foster family fell in love with him. Despite all he had been through, Max was an extremely friendly boy who loved nothing more than cuddles. We are thrilled that just four weeks after his surgery, Max was adopted and is living his best life and enjoying endless cuddles with his new family.
